Brothers Nikos (left) and Giannis Ligopsichakis from Chania are the design and business brains behind the well-known NIKOS SHOES brand, which started in 2001.

However, the tradition of creating handmade leather sandals goes back to 1945 when their grandfather, Nikos, made men’s shoes and stivania (traditional Cretan boots) something that their father continued to do.

Faithful to the  tradition of their family, the two brothers continued and developed this art by creating high quality and aesthetics sandals that are now sought after for their uniqueness, quality and style!

Their designs follow the modern trends with references to ancient Greek elements, while the top quality leathers from Chania “get together” with fabrics and wood.

In addition to their stores in Chania and selected points of sale all over Greece, they have just made their first business step in Mykonos with the homonymous store in Matogianni!
